A new group of divers arrived on Saturday and began diving today! Today was an introductory day to our Cozumel newcomers and hey weren't disappointed! Eagle rays, nurse sharks, green morays and more!

Not a certified diver but want to see what the excitement is all about? This 3 hour course will introduce you to Scuba Diving in the crystal blue waters of Cozumel, Mexico. You will watch a short video after which your instructor will offer more explanation as well as show you the equipment and how to use it before you hit the water. You and your instructor will head to the beach where you will learn and practice the basic skills of Scuba diving in shallow water before going on an exciting private underwater tour with your instructor. Once you complete the Discover Scuba Diving experience, you will be able to make subsequent dives during your vacation with a qualified professional. This course is not a certification but may be credited towards your open water certification within one year at your instructors discretion. Price includes:

Upon successful completion of this program, you may dive under the supervision of an instructor to a maximum depth of 40 feet for the remainder of your trip.

This is the first step to entering the underwater world, be prepared...you'll be addicted!
This course will teach you the core elements and skills of scuba diving. You will do five pool or confined water sessions with your instructor where you will learn and practice the required skills. Once you and your instructor are comfortable with your skill performance, you will move to the open water where you will apply the skills you have learned and practiced. There is also classroom session where your instructor will teach you the theories, procedures, and safety of scuba diving. There will be chapter quizzes and a final exam.

This course is an ideal vacation course and provides an excellent opportunity to improve the skills you learned in your basic open water course under the supervision of a PADI Instructor. You will be introduced to five different specialties. The dives you complete in your PADI AOW course can be credited to each respective specialty at the discretion of your instructor. This course is not skill intensive and there are no exams involved. You will complete a required Deep Dive (100ft/33meter max), a Navigation Dive and you can select your remaining three dives from the following which are available in Cozumel:
- Peak Performance Buoyancy
- Boat Diving
- Drift Diving
- Night Diving
- Multi-level and computer diving
- Wreck diving
- REEF Fish Identification
- Underwater naturalist
- Underwater photography (must have own camera)
This course can be worked right into a normal dive schedule so that you can dive with your travel companions and not miss out on the wonderful boat diving!

Rescue Diver (4 to 5 days) |

This is one of the best PADI courses around. You will learn self-rescue techniques as well as rescue techniques for assisting divers in distress or trouble. You will participate in several different rescue scenarios with your instructor and fellow students if applicable. Most scenarios are done from the shore although two boat dives (1 day) are included.

- Two-tank boat dive
- Tanks, weights and necessary rescue equipment

Divemaster (15 days/50 hours minimum) |

Prerequisites: Rescue diver, Medic First Aid/CPR, 60 logged dives, full set of equipment. Minimum age is 18 years. |
This is the first professional level PADI Course and is the most intense course. You will gain more in depth knowledge of the physics of diving, equipment care and maintenance, diving physiology, decompression theory, dive planning, dive leadership, and safety standards.
In addition to your class work, you will shadow and assist the dive masters, instructors, and shop assistant as appropriate to fulfill the internship portion of this course. Three boat dives are included in the price of the course where you will be expected to help out on the boat as if you were part of the crew, including loading tanks, assembling weight belts, setting up equipment, washing equipment, leading some dives, and all of the normal duties of a divemaster. You will also do numerous shore dives with your instructor(s) to practice skills, techniques, rescue scenarios, mapping, and water skills assessments.

Scuba Review - Refresher Course (3 hours) |

This course is recommended for those divers who have not been diving in more than a year or two, nervous divers, or new divers who have no ocean or drift diving experience.
You will review basic and essential skills such as mask clearing, equalization, BCD inflation, buoyancy control, regulator recovery, alternate air source use and gauge/computer use.

Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox) |
$175 |
Prerequisites: Open Water Certification; Minimum age 15 years old |
This course will teach you how to safely and effectively dive with Oxygen Enriched Air between 22% and 40% which allows longer no decompression limits for extended bottom times. This course WILL NOT change your air consumption rate. You will learn dive planning, how to calculate your maximum depth for any given percentage of oxygen, safety protocols, hazards, and risks of diving with Oxygen enriched air.
PADI no longer requires actual dives for this certification. Nitrox dives with/beyond certification are optional for the normal price of a two-tank dive and the price of nitrox fills.
